TALC 2nd Annual Art Gallery Opening and Fundraiser “Walk with Me: Living with Chronic Illness” |

TALC and TALC Jr. members use art to explore how they view illness and how it affects them on a daily basis. TALC will be showing an exhibit of art work made by current TALC participants August 1-15, 2012 at the Brown/RISD Hillel Gallery in Providence, RI. The purpose of the exhibit is to help others understand what living with chronic illness means to the TALC teens and TALC Jr. kids. We will be hosting a large gallery opening and fundraiser on August 2, 2012 to raise funds for the 2012-2013 TALC year. The ticket price includes admission, hor d’oeuvres, and beverages (water or soda). There will also be a cash bar for beer and wine ($5 each). The raffle will take place at 7:30pm. A silent auction for some of the art pieces will be open from 6:00-7:30pm. We hope you can join us! |
